Welcome to BattleShip Attack Door Version 1.0 to 2.0!

Runs on CGA and Better Moniters Using ANSI Graphics
Some Mono monitors with ansi support! select colors on (BBS)
With V2.0 Registration!
Version 2.0 allows Online Play between Sysop and User!
At The Same Time!
Check with your Sysop to Play directly on this Version!
Instructions: 5 Ships include: 1 five segment long,
2 four segment long,
1 three segment long,
1 two segment long
Registered Version will allow Sysop to set up the door game to
0-4 Scatter Bombs 1-5 Missiles/turn 1-6 Games/User
Default 2 Default 3 Default 1
The playing boards are 10 X 10 for each player (Requires 2 players)
Ship placement Directions include: (Left to Right),(Top to Bottom),
(Diagonal top to Bottom)
Note: Use ? for help!
Note: Sysop Cannot See Ship Placements! (Entries do not show on his/her end)
Enter ship locations by: Row (A-J) then Column (0-9) then direction (\/RD)
Example Type "B3\" for ship at B3 plotted down-right
Note: Directions are (R)ight,(D)own,(/)diagonal down-left,(\)diagonal down-right
Up and Left have been omitted to save space in the program!
To Shoot: Fire Missiles by typing the Row-Col coordinate you want to fire at!

To use a ScatterBomb: Press S first for Missile coordinate and the program will
ask you for the ScatterBomb Coordinates. Example S then B4
Then the program will use the ScatterBomb at that Coordinate!
A ScatterBomb will hit any and all adjacent coordinates to that coordinate you
selected also! But will not display any misses (only hits) adjacent to the
coordinate!
When all ships in one of the players grid are Sunk! The Game is Won!
The Score file will include the Win/loss info ONLY after the Loser views the
finished game.
The Symbols far left and far right indicate how many: Ships to Find and
ScatterBombs Left
Note: I incorperated a Beep Warning if the time limit gets to within
5 minutes left. It will beep 5 times for five min and 4 for 4 etc..
If the BBS kicks you out of the door prematurely the game will not be
saved so I recommend you finish what you can and exit the door before
time expires. The door does not exit for that itself. Only if the BBS
drops the door is that a problem... The Time is only watched while
waiting input in the door so if your in chat mode or the screen is
redrawing when the Beep would sound you will hear it when you exit chat
or the screen finishes. (Might beep fast or more than one set if more
than one minute pasts during chat)...
If the BBS does not kick the you out of the door then after the
five sets of beeps it should continue as normal.. But you will see the
BBS boot you off when you exit the door!
The beeps are just a warning and the door does nothing else
about it.
